This malt is primarily a stepped up version of the classic Aurora Malt from Gladfield. It has intense bready, toasted and cola like flavours with a lingering fruity sweetness. This malt should be used sparingly to supercharge the maltiness of a beer and will give flavours similar to a decoction mash.
Used at too high a concentration could lead to bitterness in the final beer. Combining this with a Vienna malt will give a balanced sweetness and a terrific red hue in your final beer.
